| The opposition's steering committee has decided that if the government forcibly passes electoral reforms and NAB rules in a joint sitting of parliament, it will approach the Supreme Court. |
Sources said that the opposition parties in the parliament have formed a steering committee to stop the government measures.

The committee includes leaders of other opposition parties including PML-N, PPP, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Awami National Party, National Party and BNP.
In addition, a meeting of the steering committee of the opposition was held in which the strategy for the joint sitting of the parliament was decided.
It was decided in the meeting that if the government forcibly passes electoral reforms and NAB rules, it will be referred to the Supreme Court.
Apart from this, the number of opposition members in the joint sitting of the steering committee will also be the first responsibility.
It may be recalled that a meeting of the Federal Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which a final consultation was held regarding convening a joint sitting of Parliament and it was decided to convene a meeting on November 11 at 11 am.

Babar Awan, Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Parliamentary Affairs, briefed the Cabinet members on possible legislation in the joint sitting of Parliament and said that the joint sitting of Parliament will legislate on electoral and legal reforms, electronic voting and institutional reforms. ۔
Babar Awan said that legislation related to Indian spy Clubbhushan case would also be passed in the joint sitting of Parliament.
