Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met US Secretary of State Angela Eagle at GHQ.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and US Charg d'Affaires Angela Egler discussed the regional security situation, including Afghanistan, and bilateral cooperation in various fields.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief stressed the need for global efforts for the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the US Secretary of State appreciated Pakistan's efforts for peace and stability.
